The joke is that a new charity to benefit the homeless is going to help the homeless by giving them weapons and ammunition called “The Arm The Homeless Coalition”. This joke was played by The Phoenix New Times but was actually a reprise of a 1993 prank done by the Ohio State University. They collected donations to pay for the weapons. A man dressed in a Santa Suit was the one who was accepting donations but anyone who donated the man would tell them information about the hoax.I liked this joke because of how no one could expect it to be a fake since the thought of “Why give them food? Let’s give them weapons to hunt for their food.” The whole scare of little homeless children running around with weapons shooting anything that moves is pretty funny. Everything in it was made pretty good and well done seeming like there was a real charity for weapons. For all those reasons I like this hoax.
