There are a lot of people that want to be rich in the future and they think that this can be done only by going to school and studying. Some students see school as "a meeting place" where you can meet your friends including boyfriends or girlfriends. But also they are obligated to go to school. They go without wanting to.
Nowadays it's difficult to be in a good position in life if you don’t learn and you don’t have some knowledge which is very important and people who don’t have an education are classified as "foolish" people. So they go to school to learn and in future it will be easier, because hard work brings its own gift.
Some other students don’t like school but they go there to pass the time ; joking with their friends , meeting girlfriends or boyfriends. They also smoke, or in some cases they take drugs. So they see school as a place where they can do these things away from the eyes of their parents. Even they can do these things out of school but for the time that they are in school it is one of their purposes.
In Albania you are forced by law to go to school until the end of High School. The pupils that don’t obey the law have to pay a certain amount of money for not attending school. Also the parents make them go because they want the best for their own children, studying.
In my opinion it is true that the students might have other purposes like smoking, taking drugs or meeting friends but they are still stimulated to study. Maybe not all the students work hard or learn a lot, but they try to do this by going to the school. This is the reason why schools were invented to expand knowledge, to LEARN!
